The story of this wonderful and colourful poppy design: “This model is inspired by the poppy fields that were often featured in the works of French impressionist artist Claude Monet. Hence the name, which refers to the work “Coquelicots” from 1873. It is a modernist reinterpretation of the poppies, which avoids an exact representation of the flower itself; it is thus rendered asymmetrically and imperfectly”.
